The Triumph Scrambler 400X has become pricier again in Nepal, marking its second official price increase since launch. The retro-styled scrambler now costs Rs 7,14,900, up by Rs 15,000 from its previous price of Rs 6,99,900.
Originally introduced at the 2024 NADA Auto Show with an introductory tag of Rs 6,89,900, the Scrambler 400X saw its first hike in January 2025, adding Rs 10,000.
Under the tank, the bike is powered by a 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 39 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
Feature highlights include full LED lighting, bar-end mirrors, adjustable levers, switchable traction control, and Bosch dual-channel ABS. Although the semi-digital instrument cluster lacks smartphone connectivity and navigation, it offers practical readouts such as a gear position indicator and distance-to-empty display, along with a USB-C charging port for convenience.
In the Nepali market, the Triumph Scrambler 400X goes up against models like the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. While the KTM offers a more off-road-focused setup and the Himalayan leans towards touring, the Scrambler 400X blends classic styling with capable performance—appealing to riders who want both urban style and weekend adventure capability.
